Soléco has developed a process for converting low-value mixed plastic waste into diesel, thus avoiding sending difficult-to-recover plastic waste to landfill. The main innovation is the design of the reactor, developed by technology partner Sweet Gazoil, which converts the liquefied plastic droplets into low-sulfur diesel and is resistant to fouling.
