Description:

Calgary-based, ATTAbotics is developing a robotic warehousing fulfillment system. Today’s warehouses typically use large footprint row and aisle layouts with human-centric picking, packing, and shipping of products. ATTAbotics revolutionary automated warehouse system has the potential to significantly reduce the cost and footprint of warehouse operations. Their solution holds inventory items in bins that are stored in a dense three-dimensional storage structure versus traditional static storage locations. These bins are then delivered to stationary workstations by robots that are capable of travelling on top, through and underneath the storage structure using a “goods-to-person” approach. This system is delivering a disruptive improvement in warehousing metrics – changing the landscape of warehousing and fulfillment.
