The Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA) has announced its top 30 finalists for the 2015 GCCA Later Stage Awards, and SDTC is pleased to see not one but two of our companies on this list. Sincere congratulations to Etalim and Semios

GCCA notes that “these mid-to-late stage companies originate from a variety of cleantech industries and have a proven track record in their home market, with the goal to expand internationally.” We couldn’t agree more with the GCCA’s assessment of Etalim’s and Semios’ potential.

Etalim is developing a device to produce power from waste heat, natural gas or other renewable or traditional biofuels.

Semios is working on an automated pest management system that uses pheromones, rather than pesticides, to keep pests out of Canadian orchards.

SDTC is proud of both companies for being named to this list, and of the scores of companies that were nominated. We will continue to work together to meet the potential of Canada’s cleantech industry, embracing the opportunity to launch world-class technologies to the global stage.
