The online application system

The online application system must be used for all submissions. Applicants with earlier hard-copy applications or other online versions will not be considered. 

First-time applicants submitting an SOI application must refer to the online application system instructions.

Returning Users: Applicants who have already accessed the online application system and received a user name and password should click Enter Your Personal Workspace. Then select the program name (i.e. SDTC Round 9 -2006A) to which you are registered and the Steps window will open. Clicking the file folder icon will take you to the next form on the Submission Summary page that is to be completed.

Note: Due to an upgrade to our online system, usernames created prior to January 23, 2006 will no longer be valid. To access information that was previously entered, please contact our Applications Administrator at applications@sdtc.ca

Online application system instructions

Please read the instructions below before entering the online application system.

1. You will be asked to Create a profile in the Please Identify Yourself window.  Enter all information, select a language preference and create a unique User Name and Password to gain access to your personal workspace. 

Notes:

• Recent programs and status will be visible in the Programs window of your personal workspace.
• Complete the application screen by screen at your leisure.  Just be sure to submit it by the close date. 
• Please ensure your e-mail address is correct.  Email will serve as the main form of communication.

2. Apply online by clicking on Register in the Programs window. The option to cancel is available by pressing the appropriate link on the Program registration form. Click on the program name to access the online forms.

3. Submit the Environmental Impact Table (Excel) with your SOI application.  Please Click this Link to download the template.  Follow the instructions and clearly document your assumptions, then attach the file to your SOI application from the Submission Summary window.

4. Once all the SOI application forms are complete, a Submit button will appear at the bottom of the Submission Summary page. Click this button to file your SOI application with SDTC.  A confirmation email will be sent. Once your application has  been submitted, you will not be able to change any of the information online.

5. After reading the instructions, print them for reference.
